Verifying Printer Operation

To prevent injury to yourself or damage to the printer, make sure the printer is
connected to a proper power source.
Um Verletzungen oder Schäden am Drucker zu verhindern, achten Sie darauf,
daß der Drucker an eine ordnungsgemäß installierte Steckdose angeschlossen
wird.
The printer must be connected to the proper power source: 200 to 240 VAC
and 50 to 60 Hz, as shown on the rear panel label. Using an incorrect power
source may damage the printer.
1. Verify that the site line voltage is the same as the voltage specified on the rear
side panel label. (Refer to "Power Requirements" on page 5–2.)
2. Make sure the ON/OFF switch on the printer is set to 0 (OFF).
3. Make sure the circuit breaker lever is set to the OFF position. (Refer to the figure
on the next page.)
4. Plug the printer power cord into the AC line receptacle.
