Adjusting the Eraser Lamp Input Voltage
1. On the MPU board, connect the negative lead of a digital multimeter to the GND
of TP5 and the positive lead to TP13.
2. On the engine checker menus, select "Volume Adjust"
"Light".
3. On the engine checker, press the blue button (START) so that the discharge
lamp (eraser lamp) lights.
4. On the MPU board, adjust VR4 so that the reading on the digital multimeter is
15.0 V 20 mV.
5. On the engine checker, press the red button (STOP) to turn off the discharge
lamp (eraser lamp).
Adjusting the Toner Density Sensor
1. On the MPU board, connect the negative lead of a digital multimeter to the GND
of TP5 and the positive lead to TP1.
2. On the engine checker menus, select "Volume Adjust"
3. On the engine checker, press the blue button (START).
4. On the MPU board, adjust VR2 so that the reading on the digital multimeter is
5.0 V 20 mV.
5. On the engine checker, press the red button (STOP).
