Capacitor
Follow the steps below to replace the capacitor inside the flash power supply.
When replacing the flash power supply capacitor, take care of the following:
After you turn off the main power, wait at least 5 minutes for the high-voltage
DC charge in some components to be completely discharged before
proceeding to the next step.
When removing the wires connected to the capacitor terminals, mark or tag the
wires and their terminals with identifying marks, so that later you can properly
reconnect the wires.
Beim Auswechseln des Kondensators des Blitzlampen–Netzteils ist folgendes
zu beachten:
Nachdem Sie die Stromzufuhr unterbrochen haben, müssen Sie mindestens 5
Minuten lang warten, damit sich die Hochspannung (Gleichstrom) einiger
Komponenten vollständig entladen kann. Erst dann dürfen Sie mit dem
nächsten Arbeitsschritt beginnen.
Beschriften oder etikettieren Sie beim Entfernen der Kabel zum Kondensator
alle kabel und Anschlüsse so, daß Sie diese Kabel später wieder
ordnungsgemäß anschließen können.
1. Remove the flash power supply (see "Flash Power Supply," starting on
page 4–78).
2. Refer to the following figure and remove the screws (8) securing the front cover
of the flash power supply, then remove the cover.
