Saving and Loading EEPROM Settings

IMPORTANT: If you are using PFRemote for the first time, you should dump the EEPROM in order
to save the current factory settings. This will enable you to recover the factory settings if they are
accidentally overwritten.

Configuring the Camera with PFRemote
To configure the camera:

If the camera is properly connected, the camera you are using is displayed:

If the camera is not connected properly, you will receive an error message. Consult the
troubleshooting section in the PFRemote Help for possible solutions.
Select Tools → Dump EEPROM.
Locate where you want to save the HEX file, enter a file name, and click Save.
Select Tools → EEPROM Recovery.
Locate the HEX file to upload and select Open.
After the camera has completed uploading the file, shut down and then restart your camera.
In PFRemote, open a connection with the camera. For details on opening a connection with
your camera, see Opening PFRemote on page 36.
Right click on the camera name and select Configure.
The configuration dialog box opens:
