Laser caution label on the scanner unit

The laser scanner unit inside the printer has the following label affixed on its top.
Observe the laser radiation warning and figures when handling the laser scanner
unit.

Laser printers generate ozone gas (O
installation and cause an unpleasant smell. To minimize the concentration of ozone
gas, we recommend that the laser printer not be installed in a confined area lack-
ing ventilation.
