2.4 Installing the batteries

Open the cover on the remote control and insert 2x AAA batteries into the compartment.
Correct position of the polar diagram shows the batteries inside the compartment.

WARnIng:
In viewing mode: to change to the next/previous channel
In menu and channel list mode: to move the cursor up/down.
In viewing mode: to decrease/increase the volume
In menu mode: for navigation and to change settings in specific
menus
In viewing mode: to open the channel list or confirm displayed
messages
In menu mode: to open the menus and to confirm settings or changes
To enter the Electronic Programme Guide.
Shows the current channel information (2x extended info)
To increase/decrease the volume level
Opens the favourite group selection
To open the list of audio languages and settings
Opens a list of messages sent by the operator.
In viewing mode: to switch through the channels
In menu/channel list: to scroll page up/down

In viewing mode: to open Teletext (if broadcasted)

The batteries should not be recharged, disassembled, electrically short-
circuited, be mixed or used with other types of batteries. If rechargeable
accumulators will be used instead of batteries, we recommend using (e.g.
NiMH) types with low self-discharge to ensure long time operation of the
remote control.
