Configuring the Thermostat Using the TMI
This chapter describes how to connect the thermostat to your local network and
configure and monitor the thermostat through the web browser using the Thermostat
Management Interface (TMI).

Thermostat Management Interface (TMI) Authentication

The TMI for all Professional Series thermostats requires password authentication
prior to accessing the HTML pages that enable you to control or manage the
thermostats. There are two levels of authentication allowed to manage the
Professional Series thermostats; the Administrator account has the highest level of
privileges and the User account has the lowest level of account privileges. The
username and password for each account is as follows:

User Account
You can change each of these passwords within each account after the initial
