Label Stop Sensor

Intermec EasyCoder 501 E – Installation & Operation Ed. 1
Position Adjustment (standard print unit)
The label stop sensor (LSS) controls the media feed by detecting
gap between labels, slots in continuous stock, or black marks at
the back of continuous stock. Also see Chapter 7, "Setting Up
the Printer."
The label stop sensor can be moved sideways across the media path.
The position can be changed continuously from the inner edge of
the media and up to 50 mm (1.97 inches) outwards. The inner edge
of the handle indicates the detection position. Always adjust the
position of the LSS so it corresponds to the center of black marks
or slots. In case of irregularly shaped labels, adjust the position so it
corresponds to the front tip of the label.
