PANEL DESCRIPTION
!0 MULTI-CONNECTOR
Connects to optional equipment.
!1 BUSY/TRANSMIT INDICATOR
➥ Lights green while receiving a signal, or when the
squelch is open.
➥ Lights red while transmitting.
!2 VOLUME CONTROL [VOL]
Rotate to turn the transceiver power ON or OFF, and ad-
just the audio level.

Indicates relative signal strength level.
w LOW POWER ICON
Appears when low output power is selected.
• When the battery power decreases to a specified level, low
power is automatically selected.
e AUDIBLE ICON
➥ Appears when the channel is in the 'audible' (unmute)
mode.
➥ Appears when a matched signal is received.
r COMPANDER ICON
Appears when the compander function is activated.

Appears when the voice scrambler function is activated.
