Installing the RAID Battery Holder

CAUTION:

1 Align the mounting board with the screw holes on the bracket.
See Figure 3-23.
2 Replace the three screws securing the mounting board to the bracket.
See Figure 3-23.
3 Align the battery holder with the screw holes on the mounting board.
See Figure 3-22.
4 Secure the battery holder to the mounting board using three screws and
hex nuts. See Figure 3-22.
5 Replace the RAID battery. See "Installing the RAID Battery" on page 171.
6 Replace the front cover. See "Installing the Front Cover" on page 149.
7 Replace the sled. See "Installing a Sled" on page 144.

Expansion Card Riser

Removing the Expansion Card Riser

1 Remove the sled from the enclosure. See "Removing a Sled" on page 143.
2 Remove the front cover. See "Removing the Front Cover" on page 148.
3 If installed, remove the expansion card or RAID controller card.
See "Removing the Expansion Card" on page 165 or "Removing the RAID
Controller Card" on page 167.
4 Remove the two screws securing the expansion card riser to the front cover.
See Figure 3-24.
5 Pull the expansion card riser away from the front cover. See Figure 3-24.
