4 You must route the cables properly on the sled tray to prevent them from
being pinched or crimped.
5 Replace the interposer extender. See "Installing the Interposer Extender"

System Battery

Removing the System Battery

WARNING:

CAUTION:
Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You
should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your
product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and
support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized is not covered by
warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product.
1 Remove the sled from the enclosure. See "Removing a Sled" on page 143.
2 Remove the front cover. See "Removing the Front Cover" on page 148.
3 Locate the battery socket on the system board. See "System Board
Connectors" on page 231.
CAUTION:
To avoid damage to the battery connector, you must firmly support the
connector while installing or removing a battery.
4 Press the "-" side of the battery outward to allow the battery to pop out
from the socket.
5 Lift the battery out of the connector. See Figure 3-40.
There is a danger of a new battery exploding if it is incorrectly
