3.10 Connecting ISDN PBXs

Connect
Use an ISDN cable to connect an ISDN telephone.
1.
Connect one end of the ISDN cable with the ISDN
telephone.
2.
Connect the other end of the ISDN cable with the
"FON S
" port of the FRITZ!Box.

If you have an ISDN PBX, you can connect this PBX to
the FRITZ!Box. With the telephones connected to the
PBX you can make calls in the usual fashion.
The ISDN PBX must support a point-to-multipoint line.
Connecting an ISDN telephone to the FRITZ!Box
Use an ISDN cable to connect an ISDN telephone.
1.
Connect one end of the ISDN cable with the ISDN
telephone.
2.
Connect the other end of the ISDN cable with the
"FON S
" port of the FRITZ!Box.

If you have no more than two analog devices con-
nected to the PBX, you can connect them directly to
the FRITZ!Box and do without the PBX.
