3.14 Configuring System Log

This section describes how to configure system log function which sends system logs to syslog server.
Syslog server
192.168.1.10
<Configuration Target>
Configure the following priority
-Priority LOG_ERROR
-Priority LOG_WARNING
-Priority LOG_NOTICE
-Priority LOG_INFO
•Syslog server IP address 192.168.1.10
<Command>
(config)#syslog server 192.168.1.10
Configure System log
(config)#syslog pri error, warm, notice, info
Save the configuration
(config)#save
<Restriction>
SBAX2 switches provides priority=info and priority=notice messages only
and do not provide any system messages in the case of any critical SBAX2 system state.
