Trunk Lid Open Switch
To open the trunk, put the trunk lock
switch in the glove box to the un-
lock position and press this switch.

To Open the Trunk Lid
Insert the ignition key
(master key) into the
key hole and turn it
clockwise.
NOTE
It is not possible to open the trunk lid with the
secondary key.
Emergency Release Lever
If you are accidentally
trapped in the vehicle's
trunk, turn the emer-
gency release lever
to open the trunk.

Trunk Lid Ajar Warning Lamp

This warning lamp comes on when
the trunk is not securely closed.
Trunk Lid Lock Switch (Glove Box)
If this switch in the glove box is in
the LOCK position, the trunk lid
cannot be opened with the trunk
lid open switch. However, the
trunk lid can be opened with the
master key in any case.
