To Open the Driver's Door
Door unlock
Door lock
1. Move the driver's door lock button
(2) to unlock position (rearward)
to unlock the driver's door.
2. Pull the door handle (1) to open
the door.
NOTE
All doors will be locked when mov-
ing the driver's door lock button (2)
to the lock position, but only the
driver's door can be unlocked
when moving it to unlock position.
All doors will be unlocked when
the engine is turned off.
CAUTION
All the doors will be automatically locked when
the vehicle is at speed of over 50 km/h with-
out locking the doors.

Door Lock Control Switch
To lock all doors:
Move this switch to the lock position (front
of the vehicle) to lock all doors at once.
To unlock all doors:
Move this switch to the unlock position (rear
of the vehicle) to unlock all doors at once.
Be sure to completely close all doors before driving.
To Open the Passenger's Door
Door lock
If you move the passenge's door
lock button (2) to the lock position,
all doors except driver's door will
be locked.
CAUTION
If you move the passenger's door
lock button (2) to the unlock
position, only the passenger's door
can be unlocked.
When you lock the doors with door
lock button or door lock control
switch, the theft deterrent alarm
system will not be alarmed.
