Wireless Settings

Basic
This page allows you to define the basic wireless settings for the NetComm Smart Hub 4G.
Radio On/Off:
Wi-Fi is turned on by default. Changing this option to OFF will turn OFF the wireless functionality on the NetComm Smart Hub 4G
and you will not be able to connect to your NetComm Smart Hub 4G wirelessly.

Click 'Apply' to save the settings.

Both 802.11b and 802.11g wireless devices are allowed to connect to your NetComm Smart Hub 4G.
Select this if all of your wireless clients are 802.11b.
Select this if all of your wireless clients are 802.11g.
Select this if all of your wireless clients are 802.11n.
Select this if 802.11b and 802.11g and 802.11n wireless devices are in your network.
The SSID (Service Set Identifier) is the name of your wireless network. Use a unique name to identify your wireless device so that
your wireless clients can easily connect to it. This field is case sensitive and can be up to 32 characters long. It is recommended
the default SSID be changed for added security.
This setting configures the frequency that the Wireless Radio uses for wireless connectivity. Select one channel that you wish to
use from the drop down list.
WDS (Wireless Distribution System) is a function that enables the wireless interconnection of access points, and allows a wireless
network to be expanded using multiple access points without a wired backbone to link them. Each WDS Access Point needs to
be set with the same channel and encryption type.
