The lists of slots to install optional PCI boards
Refer to "List of option PCI boards and installable slots" on page 8-12.
Driver installation procedure
It is not necessary to install the driver for N8803-038 manually because it is included in the OS.
Configuration of path duplexing
IMPORTANT:
This operation must be executed by only root user.
1. Execute following command to create multi path devise.
# multipath
Executing this command, dm devise of md-N and dm-mp devise (symbolic link to dm devise)
of mapper/mpathN and mappaer/mpathNpM (N and M is natural number except 1) are create
under /dev.
Then sd devise of FibreChannel is made virtualization by each path.
mpathN is Nth LUN, mpathNpM is Mth partition.
2. Execute following command, and then begin path watch daemon (multipathd).
# chkconfig multipathd on
# /etc/init.d/multipathd start
3. Execute following command, path condition of each dm-mp devise can be displayed.
# multipath -l
Altering procedure in running System
･altering partition
Execute fdisk to Virtualized /dev/mapper/mpathN (N is natural number except 1).
OS reboot is needed in order to reflect this altering to the System.
･Adding, altering, and deleting of LUN
OS reboot is needed in order to reflect this altering to the System.
