The VFO mode is used to set the desired frequency.

What is a VFO?
VFO is an abbreviation of Variable Frequency Oscillator. Fre-
quencies for both transmitting and receiving are generated
and controlled by the VFO.

Memory mode is used for operation on memory channels,
which store programmed frequencies.
Push [M/CALL] once or twice to select the memory

• Push [M/CALL] again to select Call channels. The Memo-
ry mode or Call channels are alternately selected.
Rotate [DIAL] to select a desired memory channel.
