H A PT ER Introduction 1.1 Overview The PMG5318-B20A combines a fiber optic (GPON) router with a built-in switch. Its voice over IP (VoIP) capabilities allow you to use a traditional analog telephone to make Internet phone calls. 1.2 Managing the GPON Device Use the GPON Device’s built-in Web Configurator to manage it.
