    Introduction 1.1 Overview The PMG1006-B20A SFU (Single Family Unit) combines a fiber optic GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) ONT (Optical Network Terminal) with a built-in 4-port Gigabit Ethernet switch. Your GPON Device provides shared Internet access through a fiber optic line connected to the PON port’s built- in optical transceiver.

    The GPON Device is sending/receiving data to/from the LAN through this port. The GPON Device does not have an Ethernet connection with the LAN through this port.     Click Maintenance > Tools to open the Firmware screen. Follow the instructions in this screen to upload firmware to your GPON Device. The upload process uses HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) and may take up to two minutes. After a successful upload, the system will reboot.
