n Scan types
Scannng s an efficent way to locate sgnals quckly over a
wde frequency range. The transcever has Prorty scan and
Normal scan.
PRIORITY SCAN

Prorty scan searches through all TAG channels n
sequence whle montorng Channel 16. When a sgnal
s detected on Channel 16, scan pauses untl the sgnal
dsappears; when a sgnal s detected on a channel other
than Channel 16, scan becomes Dualwatch untl the
sgnal dsappears.

SCAN OPERATION

Set the TAG channels (scanned channel) before scannng.
Clear the TAG for unwanted channels whch nconvenently
stop scannng, such as those for dgtal communcaton use.

Choose the desred scan type from 'Prorty' or 'Normal' n
Set mode. (p. 107)
NORMAL SCAN

Normal scan, lke prorty scan, searches through all TAG
channels n sequence. However, unlke prorty scan,
Channel 16 s not checked unless Channel 16 s set as a
TAG channel.
