DSC OPERATION
t Push [ENT] to transmt the Indvdual call.
• Emergency channel (Channel 70) s automatcally selected.
• If Channel 70 s busy, the transcever stands by untl the chan-
nel becomes clear.

y After the Indvdual call has been transmtted, the trans-
cever automatcally returns to the prevous ndcaton
(before enterng the DSC menu.)
u After recevng the acknowledgement call ("Able to com-
ply"), the voce communcaton can be performed wth the
respondng shp. See p. 83 for detals.

When Channel 70 is busy
D Transmitting an Individual Acknowledgement call
When recevng an Indvdual call, you can transmt an ac-
knowledgement call ('Able to comply', 'Propose New Chan-
nel' or 'Unable to comply') by usng the on screen prompts
(Quck ACK). Also, you can send an acknowledgement
through the menu system (Manual ACK.)
To transmit "Able to Comply"— Quick ACK:
➥ After an Indvdual call s receved, push [CLR] to stop the
alarm, then rotate [SELECTOR] to ndcate the receved
message log. And then, push [ENT]. (Go to step r as at
rght.)
