RECEIVE FUNCTIONS
The Automatic tuning function tunes the displayed fre-
quency (max. ±5 kHz) automatically when an off fre-
quency signal is received. This function is active while
in AM, SSB or CW is selected.
➥ Push [AUTOTUNE] (AFC) to toggle the autotune
function ON or OFF.

• After 30 sec. has passed, the autotune function stops
tuning automatically even it's still off frequency.
The AFC stands for Automatic Frequency Control. The
AFC function tunes the displayed frequency automati-
cally when an off-center frequency is received. It acti-
vates in FM or WFM mode only.
➥ Push [AFC] to toggle the autotune function ON or
OFF.
• "AFC" appears when AFC function is active.
The AFC limit can be set in the others set mode.
While the AFC limit is ON, AFC stops tuning when
the received frequency leaves the out of the fre-
quency limit range.
