In multi-enclosure systems, the enclosure number the DVD drive is installed can be specified
as an optional argument. If no enclosure number is specified, the DVD drive from the
local enclosure is used.
Example:
CLI> set partition dvd connect 1
Partition 1 has been connected to the DVD drive in enclosure 1.
CLI> set partition dvd connect 1:1
Partition 1:1 has been connected to the DVD drive in enclosure 1.
CLI> set partition dvd connect nPar001 enclosure 2
Partition 1 has been connected to the DVD drive in enclosure 2.
CLI> set partition dvd disconnect 1
Partition 1 has been disconnected from the DVD drive in enclosure 1.
CLI> set partition dvd disconnect 1:1
Partition 1:1 has been disconnected to the DVD drive in enclosure 1.
CLI> set partition dvd disconnect nPar001 enclosure 2
Partition 1 has been disconnected from the DVD drive in enclosure 2.
NOTE:
The SET PARTITION DVD command is not applicable to HP Integrity Superdome 2
server blades. It can only be issued against partitions
SHOW PARTITION DVD
Command:
SHOW PARTITION DVD { nPartition number or name [ :vPartition name or number ] | ALL }
Description:
Displays information about the DVD drive attached to the specified partition.
Access level/Bay level:
OA Administrator, OA Operator
Restriction:
You must be connected to the monarch OA.
Example:
