To connect a computer to the television ...
> IMPORTANT! Disconnect the television, the
computer, and all equipment connected to the
computer from the mains.
> Using the appropriate type of cable, connect one
end to the DVI or VGA output socket on your
computer, and the other end to the DVI socket
on the television.
> To hear sound from the computer in the
television speakers, use the appropriate cable
and connect the sound output on the computer
to the R–L sockets on the television.
> Reconnect the television, the computer, and all
equipment connected to the computer to the
mains. Remember, the computer must be
connected to a grounded wall outlet as
specified in its setting-up instructions.

Socket used for connecting a BeoLab 2 subwoofer.
CINEMA CENTRE
Socket used for connecting an external centre
speaker in a Home cinema setup if, for example, a
screen covers the television speaker.
REAR
The two sockets are used for connecting the
external rear speakers in a surround sound setup.
AV4
R–L ... Right and left line signal. To connect digital
audio, use one of the DIGITAL AUDIO IN sockets
(A1 – A4) and set it up in the AV4 connections
menu.
VIDEO ... For connection of a video signal.
Y – Pb – Pr
For connection of video signal from an external
source such as an HDTV source, can be used in
conjunction with an AV socket – or a digital audio
socket.
DVI-I
For connection of an external PC. Supported
formats are: DVI and VGA, 60 Hz, 640 × 480,
800 × 600, 1024 × 768, 1280 × 720, 1366 × 768.
DVI-I (applies only to televisions equipped
with the HD-ready feature)
For connection of analogue or digital video signal,
can be used in conjunction with an AV socket or
digital audio sockets. Supported formats are: DVI
and VGA, 60 Hz, 640 × 480, 800 × 600,
1024 × 768, 1280 × 720, 1366 × 768 and 480i,
576i, 1080i, 480p, 576p, 720p, 50Hz, 576i, 1080i,
576p and 720p.
