How to Agitate the White Ink Bag
If you do not agitate the white ink bag at least once a month, you will see variations in
the ink density of printed images and you will have more nozzle dropout issues. A message
will appear on the printer screen every month to remind you to agitate it. You will not
be able to use the printer until this is done. This ensures that the white ink pigment does
not settle in the bottom of the bag and thus reduces the chance of sludge being released
into the ink reservoir.
Open the clear plastic door of the Ink Bay.

Press the quick-release coupler button at the bottom corner of the white ink bag to release

Unhook the bag from the ink station.

Agitate the white ink bag according to the illustration on the bag.

Note:
You must agitate the white ink bag for at least 5 seconds or the message will remain on
the screen.
Replace the bag in the Ink Bay.
