Roll Module Settings

Roll Module Settings
Introduction
The Roll Module Settings allow the operator to set the size of the margins before and
after each RMO print job. You can also set the distance that the media advances after it
is unloaded. This feature is found in the Settings Tab of the printer software.

Margin Settings
The Top Margin is the amount of space that the media will advance before an RMO
print job. The Bottom Margin is the amount of space that the media will advance after
an RMO print job. Therefore, when you are printing more than one RMO print job,
the Top and Bottom margins determine the amount of space that is left blank between
print jobs (or multiple copies of one job). The default setting for Top and Bottom is
50mm (2 inches). So there will be 100mm (4 inches) of blank media between print jobs
unless you change these settings.
Media Move on Unload
The Media Move on Unload settings determines how much the media will advance after
an Unload command. The default setting is 125mm. This distance is combined with the
Bottom Margin distance to determine how much blank space is left on the media after
the last printed image. It must be at least enough so that the roll can be cut in the Media
Cut Guide without cutting into the image.
