Oil Fill

Oil Drain

Un-thread the gascapto addgasoline to the fuel tank.
Muffler
Engine exhaust e xiststhe engineviathe muffler.
ElectricStarterOutlet
Requires t he useof athree-prongoutdoorextension cordanda 120V powersource/
wall outlet.
RecoilStarter Handle
Thishandleisusedto manuallystartthe engine.
ElectricStarterButton

Auger
Whenengaged, the augerbladesrotateanddrawsnowintothe augerhousing.
ChuteAssembly
Snow drawnintothe augerhousingisdischarged o ut the chuteassembly.
Theaugercontrolislocatedonthe left handle.Squeeze t he control g ripagainstthe
handle to engage the augerandstartsnowthrowingaction.Release t o stop.
DriveControl / AugerClutch Lock
Thedrivecontrolislocatedonthe right handle. S queeze the control g ripagainst t he
handle to engage the wheeldrive.Release the handle to stop.
Thedrivecontrolalsolocksthe augercontrolsothatyoucanoperate the chute
directional c ontrolwithoutinterruptingthesnowthrowingprocess. Ifthe auger
controlisengaged simultaneously w iththe drivecontrol,the operator canrelease
the augercontrol ( onthe left handle) andthe augerwill remainengaged. R elease
bothcontrolsto stopthe augerandwheeldrive.
NOTE: Alwaysrelease the drivecontrolbefore changingspeeds. F ailure to dosowill
resultinincreased w earon yourmachine's drivesystem.
Drift Cutters
Thedrift cuttersaredesigned forusein deep snow.Theiruseisoptional f or normal
snowconditions. M aneuver the snowthrowersothatthe cutterspenetrate a high
standingsnowdrift to assist s nowfalling into the augers forthrowing.
Skid Shoes
Position theskid shoes b ased o nsurface c onditions. Adjust u pward f orhard-packed
snow. Adjust d ownward when operating o ngravel orcrushed rock surfaces.
