Removing
From (:rate
1.
Remove s crews from the bottomofthe cratesecuring the sides, a ndendsof
the shippingcrate.
2.
Liftoff the top off of the crateandsetout of thewayofthe assembly area.
3.
Remove a nddiscard plasticbagthat covers unit.
4.
Remove a nyloose partsincluded with unit (e.g.,Operator's Manual, e tc.).
5.
Push downonthe lowerhandle andpullunit backout of crate.
6.
Makecertainthe cratehasbeencompletely emptiedbefore discarding it.
Assembly
1.
Remove a nypackaging materialfromthe upperhandle.
2.
Remove t he lowerplastic wing nut,belleville washer andcarriage boltfrom
eachsideof the upperhandle; t hen raisethe upperhandle assembly until it
snaps overthe lowerhandle.SeeFigure 1.

1.
Remove l ocknutsandscrews securing oneofthe flangekeepers t o the chute
assembly. L oosen the fasteners of theothertwo flangekeepers. S eeFigure

Looking beneath the handlepanel,check thatall of the cables (steering,
auger, s hift, anddrive)areproperlyroutedandnot pinchedor kinked.
Makecertainthe springs at the lowerendofthe augeranddrivecables are
securely hookedinto theirrespective actuatorbrackets.

Secure the upperhandle andlowerhandlewiththe two wing nuts,belleville
washers, a ndcarriage bolts removed earlier. T ightenthe twowing nuts
alreadyinstalledin the upperholesto firmly secure the upperhandleand
supporttubes.SeeFigure 2.

Loosen, but do not remove, t he chutecrankbracket i nordertoattachthe
chuteassembly. S eeFigure 5.

Place c huteassembly o ntochutebaseasshowninFigure 4. Make surethatthe
chutenotches e ngage with thespiral e ndof chutedirectional c ontrol, a ndthe
two flangekeepers a rebeneath theflangeonthe chutebase.
4.
Secure flangekeeperremoved earlierwith locknutsandscrews. T ighten
down nutssecuring theothertwo flangekeepers. S eeFigure 5.
