9. Check the imaging unit counter

When "iu" is displayed on the copy counter, you have to change the
imaging unit. When the imaging unit counter becomes approximately
30,000, the life of the unit has almost finished and you can find the "iu"
is continuously on the copy counter. You can check how many copies
you have made using this imaging unit using this function.
How to check the imaging unit counter

Access user tool number "9".
You will find the first 2 digits of
the total imaging unit counter
are displayed on the copy
counter.
Example:
When the counter is 12345, "01" is
displayed on the copy counter.
At that time, the center image den-
sity indicator is lit.

Press the Image Density key.
You will find the second 2 digits
of the total imaging unit counter
are displayed on the copy
counter.
Example:
When the counter is 12345, "23" is
displayed on the copy counter.
At that time, the next image density
indicator to the right is lit.
