Moving the Printer Within the Office

1. Close the printer doors.
2. Turn off the printer using the power switch on the back of the printer.
3. Within 60 seconds after turning off the printer, on the printer control panel select either Standard
Power Off or Power Off to Move.
4. Wait for the printer to complete the cool-down period for the ink to solidify. The printer fans shut
down when the printer is cool enough to move.
CAUTION:
If you do not select Standard Power Off or Power Off to Move, the ink takes longer to
solidify because the fans do not spin. Wait at least 30 minutes for the printer to cool down
completely before moving or packing it.
5. After the cool-down cycle is complete, unplug the printer.
CAUTION:
Do not unplug the printer until the cooling sequence completes and the printer turns off.
