Wallboard Properties
This option enables you to configure as well as add either of the Wallboards.
With the Wallboard Server open, from the Devices menu, select Wallboard
Properties. The Wallboard Properties screen lists the installed Wallboards.

Check Wallboard Operation
Once you have started the Wallboard server, you can check the Wallboards that you
are connected to. To do this:

View Active PC Wallboard
When this option is selected, you will see a list of PC Wallboard(s) currently connected
to the Wallboard Server.
To update the list, click Refresh.

To add a Wallboard, click the Add button and follow the procedure detailed on
page 63.
To remove a Wallboard, select the device and then click the Remove button.
To select a Wallboard as the default device, select the required Wallboard then
click the Set as Default button.
To check the configuration of a Wallboard device, select the Wallboard and then
click the Properties button.
The General tab allows you to:
Change the Comm Ports setting of the selected Wallboard by selecting a port
from the Available Ports and then click the Change Port button. Change the
Network Number by entering the required network number and then click the
Change Network Number button. There are 31 (0–30) numbers available.
Change the name of the Wallboard by clicking in the Alpha Tag text box and
modifying the selected Wallboard name as necessary. Click the Close button
to save any changes.
The Hardware tab allows you to:
Clear all the messages on the Wallboard by using the Reset feature. This
should only be used if there are no scheduled messages displayed or that the
messages are not displayed properly on the device.
From the Devices menu select Wallboard Properties.
The list of available Wallboards is shown. If no Wallboards show, you will need to
install a Wallboard. Refer to page 63 for further information on installing a new
Wallboard.
Select the Wallboard to check from the listing.
Click on the Properties button.
Click on the Hardware tab.
Click the Self Test OFF button to start the self-test.
A message will show asking 'The self test will clear any messages on the selected
wallboard. Do you wish to continue?
Click on the Yes button if there are no messages running.
If information appears on the selected Wallboard, click on the Self test ON button
to turn the test off.
Click the Cancel button.
Click the Close button.
