Using System Resources

This chapter provides information on using system resources, such as interrupt requests (IRQs)
and basic input/output system (BIOS) parameter settings, to configure the system to use
expansion cards. The chapter covers specific Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) and
Industry Standard Architecture (ISA) devices offered by Intergraph Computer Systems as
system options. Intergraph Computer Systems has determined that the devices discussed in
this chapter require specific resource settings to ensure proper system operation.
