Navigating BIOS Setup
To navigate the BIOS Setup menu or change BIOS settings, use keyboard keys as follows:

When you highlight a field, information about the field appears on the right side of the screen.
BIOS Setup also provides a General Help window that can be opened from any menu by
pressing

BIOS Setup Menus
To change a BIOS setting, you must select the appropriate BIOS Setup menu, select the
appropriate field in the menu, and change the setting. BIOS Setup is composed of six menus:
Menu
Main
Advanced
Security
Power
Boot
Exit
NOTE
If your computer will not boot after you have changed settings and exited from BIOS Setup,
reboot and press
settings that caused the boot to fail. If problems persist, press

Display the General Help window.
Exit the current menu.
Select the next menu.
Move the cursor up and down between fields
Move the cursor forward through the cells for a highlighted field.
Move the cursor backward through the cells for a highlighted field.
Scroll forward through the options for the highlighted field.
Set the parameters for the current menu to their default values.
Exit BIOS Setup, setting the parameters for the current menu to their
previous values.
Execute commands, or open a submenu that has a plus mark [+] on the
left side of the menu.

Save changes and exit from BIOS Setup
to reenter BIOS Setup. Once in BIOS Setup, you can try to change the
