Unarchiving .tar Files

There is a master .tar file (i.e.,
unarchived. Inside the master .tar file is a set of individual .tar files that must also be
unarchived, as necessary, for each of the UNIX operating systems.

# mount -r -t cdfs -o noversion -v /dev/rz4c /mycdrom

is the file type

is the CD-ROM file system.
cdfs

noversion invokes the skip version process.
