Video Memory
The computer does not have dedicated video memory. The video memory
available on your computer is configured in two modes of operation.
VGA Shared Memory
This is the pre-allocated memory size for VGA compatibility. This is fixed
in the BIOS at 32MB (see page
system memory e.g. if you computer has 128MB of memory (RAM), then
32MB will be allocated to video leaving the system with 96MB of RAM.
Dynamic Video Memory Technology

DVMT automatically and dynamically allocates as much (up to
64MB) system memory (RAM) as needed to the video system (the video
driver must be installed - see
