Material jams

Problem
Did you use Gerber-approved
material?
Is the material folded, bent or curled?
Did you load the material correctly
(straight) into the left side of the
printer?
Are the pinch wheels set to the
correct force setting for the material
loaded?
Is the beam height adjusted
correctly?
Is the GERBER SOLARA UV2 being
used in adverse environmental
conditions?
Is there foreign material in the grit
wheels?

Quality of printed output

The print is blurred

Problem
Is the material damp?
Is the material folded, bent or curled?
Is the printable side of the material
loaded correctly?
Solution
Replace with new,
Gerber-approved material
Replace with new Gerber-
approved material. Store
material in correct
environmental conditions.
Reload the material.
Adjust the pinch wheel
force setting for the
material loaded.
Adjust the beam height
within the acceptable
range for the material.
Use the SOLARA UV2 in
the specified
environment.
Clean the grit wheels with
the supplied brush.
Solution
Replace with dry, Gerber-
approved material. Store
material in correct
environmental conditions.
Replace with new Gerber-
approved material. Store
material in correct
environmental conditions.
Reload the material with
the printable side of the
material facing up.
