2. Ending Service Mode

Press the Reset key once to bring back the service mode Initial screen (Figure 4-3).
Press the Reset key twice to end service mode and to bring back the User screen (standard
screen).
Caution:
If you used ADJUST, FUNCTION, or OPTION in service mode, be sure to turn off and then
on the power switch after ending service mode.

3. Backing Up the RAM

At time of shipment from the factory, each machine is adjusted individually and its adjustment
values are recorded on the service label (one of the two labels attached to the service data sheet
cover behind the front cover).
If you have replaced the CPU PCB or initialized the RAM, be sure to record all service mode
values (ADJUST/OPTION) of the service label. (The values will return to default values upon
replacement or initialization.)
If you cannot find an appropriate heading on service label 1, make use of the blanks of service
label 2.
