Cause
• The stapler unit shift motor (M3)
fails to rotate.
• The stapler internal paper sensor
auto adjustment mechanism is
faulty.
• The bin shift motor (M9) fails to
rotate.
• The DC output from the sorter
controller PCB is faulty.
Timing of detection
The operation does not end within
5000 msec after the motor drive
signal has been generated.
The auto adjustment mechanism of
the stapler internal paper sensor
fails, or an error occurs in the auto
adjustment value.
The operation fails to end within a
specific period of time after the
motor drive signal has been
generated.
• for initialization, 20000 msec
• except initialization, 2000 msec
The clock plate sensor of the motor
does not generate clock signals for
250 msec.
The input signal from the lead cam
position sensor (PI20) remains
unchanged for 2000 msec.
An error has occurred in the DC
output (24 VL, 24 VP) from the
sorter controller PCB.
