IBM File Transfer Settings
Host File
This text box is used to specify the name of a host file to be trans-
ferred to the local PC, or to assign a different name to a local file
being transferred to the host.
Clear Session Before Transfer
Factory default: Unchecked
The setting of this option determines whether or not a clear session
command is sent to the host before a file transfer commences.
Timeout (Secs)
Factory default: 120
This specifies the length of time in seconds that the file transfer pro-
gram waits for a response from the remote host before generating an
error message. The valid range is from 20 to 65525 seconds.
Packet Size
Factory default: 2048
This sets the maximum size of packets that can be sent or received.
The valid range is from 256 to 32768 bytes.
