Complete the following steps to replace a hot-swap power supply:
1. Review the safety information beginning on page 129 and "Installation
guidelines" on page 33.
2. Press the orange release lever on the selected power supply; then, pull the
power supply out of the bay and set it aside.
3. Make sure the power-supply handle is in the open position; then, slide the
power supply all the way into the chassis before placing the power-supply
handle into the locked position.
4. If the server is not on, turn on the server.
5. Verify that the dc power LED and the ac power LED on the power supply are lit,
indicating that the power supply is operating properly.
