Reconfiguring Solution Engine System Parameters
At the system prompt, type set timeout followed by a single space and the timeout period in minutes.

Setting the Solution Engine System Domain

You can set the system DNS domain from the serial console. To set the ACS SE system domain:

At the system prompt, type set domain followed by a single space and the domain name.
Step 2
Step 3 Press Enter.
Result: The system displays the confirmation message:
You should reboot appliance for the change to take effect.

Setting the Solution Engine System Hostname

Performing this procedure stops and restarts all services, and will interrupt use of the ACS SE.
Caution
You can set the system hostname. To set the ACS SE system hostname:
Log in to the ACS SE. For more information, see

At the system prompt, type set hostname followed by a single space and the hostname.

Result: The system restarts all services, and the hostname is reset. The system then displays the
confirmation message:
You should reboot appliance for the change to take effect.
(The hostname is then reset after system reboot.)
