This printer is inspected and listed by recognized national testing laboratories,
such as Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) in the U.S.A. and Canadian
Standards Association (CSA) in Canada. Listing of a product by a national testing
laboratory indicates that the product is designed and manufactured in
accordance with national requirements intended to minimize safety hazards. IBM
equipment meets a very high standard of safety in design and manufacture.
Remember, however, that this product operates under conditions of high
electrical potentials and heat generation, both of which are functionally
necessary.
