Trouble
Machine doesn't turn off.
Chamber lamp doesn't turn on.
Machine doesn't heat up.
Possible reason
Open circuit.
Relay K2 fault.
Lamp EL fault.
Open circuit.
Contactor KM2 fault.
Thermal cut-out DC4 wrong
settings.
Thermal cut-outDC4 control output
fault.
Remedy
Check continuity between:
Circuit breaker QF;
•
•
Filter EMI;
Contactor KM2;
•
Switch SA1;
•
•
Push button SB1;
Power supply unit PSU;
•
PLC DC1.
•
Restore connection, face up pitted
contacts, tighten loosen contacts.
Check relay operation. When
control voltage is applied to
terminals (A1+) and (A2-), contacts
(11) and (14) must be closed;
contacts (11) and (12) must be
open, and vice versa if no control
voltage applied.
Replace fault relay.
Replace fault lamp.
Check continuity between:
Lamp EL;
•
•
Contactor KM2.
Restore connection, face up pitted
contacts, tighten loosen contacts.
Check the contactor operation. Its
core should move back and forth
easily, no short or open circuit in its
coil. While the core pushed inside,
contacts (1), (3), (5), (13) should be
closed to (2), (4), (6), (14),
respectively; and should be open as
the core is not pushed.
Replace fault contactor.
Set the factory settings.
Check relay output. While OUT
indicator on the display is on, there
should be 230 VAC on the relay
output terminal.
Replace fault unit.
