9. OLD VERSIONS - CONFIG TOOL
The Web-server II has to be configured via a Config Tool, a computer program.
Different Config Tools are used depending on if the Web-server II shall be used with WebG3/ Web128
software, or OPC512 G3 software. The Config tool version has to correspond with the EBL software
version.
During the installation of the Config tool, a message may be shown that .NET Framework has to be installed
on the computer. More information and a free download are available on the Microsoft web site.
Information and help regarding every tab / dialog box in the Config Tool respectively can be found in the
Config Tool help as well as in separate documents.
A new Config Tool version will always be released together with a new EBL512 G3 / EBL128 software
version.
