6.2 HEATER POWER CONNECTION AND CURRENT PROTECTION

The power supply connection must be made using a separate switchboard, which is not supplied
by VTS.
The heater connection should be made in such a way that the heater cannot be switched on
!
when the fan is not switched on - this is ensured by factory-fitted, series-connected safety
devices in the form of a thermostat and pressure switch, which prevent the heater from being
switched on if the temperature and air flow conditions are not met.
If the fan stops, it is essential to switch off the power supply to the heater.

The type of conductors used for the various heater functions is shown in the table below. The
conductor cross-section and its protection should be selected based on the information indicated
in the table above.
