net design DN 65 - 400, NPS 3 - 16.
10. Lower the plug (2.2) into a three jaw-chuck with soft
brackets.
11. Put a new lock bushing (2.3) into the plug - cone open
at the top - if the one already used can be removed.
12. Tighten the stem to the specified torque using a tool.
NOTICE
13. Insert the bellows unit (2.4) into the bonnet from be-
low.
14. Place a new seal ring (2.8), seal carrier (2.7) and finger
tighten the hex nut (2.6).
15. Tighten the stem to the specified torque using a tool.
16. Place a new head gasket (2.15) and move the head
(3.15) on the bonnet (3.1).
NOTICE
17. Install and finger tighten the hex nut (3.16).
18. Remove the pre-assembled assembly from the three
jaw-chuck.
19. Further assembly is carried out as described in the
chapter - body.

Do a visual inspection and only disassemble

assemblies where necessary. This does not
include full servicing after 7 years at the latest.
1. Remove the lifting tool if it has not already been done.
2. Loosen the hex nut (3.6) counter clockwise and re-
move the washer (3.8) and the gland follower (3.4).

3. Turn the hex nuts (3.16) counter clockwise to loosen.
4. Remove the head (3.15) and head gasket (2.15).
5. Use a Packing Driver Tool to remove the packing box
ring (3.2) and packing (3.3) by knocking out from below.
6. Carefully clean the packing chamber of all deposits us-
ing a suitable tool. Do not damage high-quality surfaces.
7. Pull out the insulating pipe (3.23) at the top.
8. Pull out the plug assembly (2.2) downwards.
9. Use a standard brass scraper or other suitable tool to
clean the sealing surfaces. Check for corrosion or any
other damage.
Damage sealing surfaces is very likely to
