8.2 Remove the safety panel
Remove the safety panel to do maintenance tasks in the analysis section (tubes, pumps, valves,
digestion unit and/or cuvettes). Make sure to install the safety panel when the maintenance task is
complete. A lock mechanism stops the analyzer when the safety panel is removed.
Do the steps that follow to remove the safety panel.
1. Push the circular START/STOP button to stop the analyzer operation. Select YES to confirm. The
analyzer starts a sequence of procedures to prepare the system for maintenance. Wait for all of
the procedures to stop.
