9.3 View the analyzer signals
The Signals menu shows the absorbance data and data for valve operation, pump operation, power,
leakage and temperature. Use the data to troubleshoot a problem.
1. Push Menu > Service > Signals.
2. Select the Measure, Flow Actions or Others screen to see the recorded data.
9.4 View the recorded events
The analyzer records all errors, warnings and reminders that occur during operation. A notification
message for the event shows on the home screen. The home screen does not show the notification
message when the condition is corrected or no longer occurs.
1. When a notification message shows on the home screen, push the down arrow to expand the
messages.
2. Push Go to diagnosis view page. The Diagnosis view screen opens and shows the notification
messages.
Note: As an alternative, push Menu > Diagnosis > Diagnosis view to see the Diagnosis view screen.
3. To hide events from the Diagnosis view list, go back to Diagnosis, then push Alarm settings.
4. Select the Mask settings screen to see the list of possible events.
5. To hide an event from the Diagnosis view, select the checkbox for the event. Events with a
checkmark do not show in the Diagnosis view screen.
Note: The instrument does not record the events that are selected in the Mask settings screen.
Note: The user can manually erase notifications for water leakage and LED error. Push Diagnosis > Alarm
settngs and select the Diagnosis clear screen.
9.5 Use the test menu
Use the test menu to start the operation of instrument components (e.g., pumps and valves). Monitor
the component operation during the test to see if the component operates correctly.
1. Push Menu > Service > Advanced.
2. Select the Test screen. The message "Do you want to stop the device and enter to test function?"
shows. Push YES.
3. Select an instrument operation. Use the onscreen controls to start or stop an operation.

Starts and stops the operation of the relay and 4–20 mA analog output

Pump & Valve Starts and stops the operation of the pumps and valves.
Fan & Heating Starts and stops the operation of the fan and the temperature control element.
Substep
Operates part of an instrument task (e.g., measure, calibration, clean) for a
selected measurement range.
