4.1 Initialization guide

The initialization guide starts when the instrument is powered on for the first time. The initialization
guide helps the user set the date and time, language and measurement range.
1. Open the top door to get access to the instrument display.
2. When the date and time screen shows on the display, set the correct time and date as follows:
a. Push the hours or minutes number, then push + or – to change the number.
b. Push the date, then use the calendar to set the correct date.
c. Push APPLY to save the changes.
d. Push NEXT. The Language screen shows.
3. Push the applicable language to select the language for the user interface. Push NEXT. The
Range screen shows.
4. Push the applicable concentration range for measurements.
5. Push DONE.
The display shows the Home screen. The instrument automatically operates the pumps to prime
the tubing, then starts a calibration cycle. Wait until the initialization procedure is complete.
